Heritage of the Coonamble Local Government Area includes places of significance to the Gamilaroi and Wailwan peoples, the natural heritage of the Macquarie Marshes, Pilliga State Forest and Warrumbungle National Park, and the built heritage of the Coonamble Railway Station, the Art Deco style shop frontages in Coonamble's main street, the Musuem Under the Bridge, pastoral homesteads, woolsheds and shearers' quarters and other key buildings in Gulargambone and Quambone.
