Pool season is from 28 September 2024 to 5 April 2025.
If feeling unwell, especially with cold or flu-like symptoms, please do not attend the facility.

Every Day:*
6.00am to 9.00am then from 3pm to 7pm
* Pools will close Christmas Day, Boxing Day and some other public holidays.
Cost of entry
Children under 2 years of age: No charge.
School-aged children will be admitted for a gold coin fee during NSW School Holidays.
Staff and children attending pools for school-organised activities will be admitted for a gold coin fee.
Individuals with either a Companion Card or a valid Pension Card that shows a residential address in Coonamble Shire will be admitted for a gold coin fee.

All signs and rules are to be obeyed at all times.
Through delegated authority from the General Manager, the Pool Manager reserves the right to decline patrons’ entry to the complex for refusal to follow any of the rules outlined below.
Code of Conduct and Rules
Season Tickets are for the use of those whose names are listed on the application form.
Children under the age of 12 years will be refused entry without a supervising adult.
Patrons must wear swimming costumes to enter the pool. The following items may also be worn:
- Swimming shirts ONLY.
- Clean swimming shorts/trunks.
- Clean board shorts.
NO bombing, running dives, back dives, shoulder rides or somersaults.
NO running within the complex at all.
NO glass is to be brought onto the premises (eg. drink bottles).
NO swearing.
NO foul play, including pushing/dunking.
NO swinging or climbing on handrails.
NO balls or ball games.
NO alcohol/drugs permitted on grounds.
NO diving in the 25-metre or Baby Pool.
NO smoking.
NO chewing gum.
DO NOT allow young children near the 50-metre pool without proper and adequate supervision.
Supervision of Children
Under 12 years of age
Children 5 years of age and under are not permitted to enter the Coonamble Swimming Pool Grounds or Pools without adult supervision.
A supervising adult means a person 18 years of age or over who can legally take responsibility for the child’s safety.
This means that the supervising adult must be within arm’s length of the child at all times.
12 years of age and over
The minimum age for a child to enter the Coonamble Swimming Pool complex unsupervised is 12 years and over.

The Swim and Survive program offers multiple grades of swimming lessons across pre-school and school-age categories. Please ask at the pool for details.
The pool and our environment
Council has a responsibility to ensure that any water from the Coonamble Swimming Pool does not pollute the local environment. To this end, Council has a Pollution Incident Response Management Plan in place that is updated frequently. Testing is also carried out and reported on a regular basis.
